The room
Hyderabad runs on Irani chai, and so does our lobby. Chai & Co. brews it the way the old cafés in the city do — strong tea and milk simmered separately and poured together — and serves it with Osmania biscuits baked in our own kitchen each morning. There is filter coffee and an espresso machine for the rest of the day, a pastry case filled at seven and again at four, and a few sandwiches for those who need lunch at the desk. Twenty-eight seats, power points at every table, and takeaway cups if your cab is already outside.
Worth knowing. Everything on the counter can be packed to take away. Orders for meetings of more than ten — call the counter an hour ahead.
